01Who we are

Evolut is responsible for processing personal data through evolut.nl.

02What data we process and why

Contact form

Name, email address, brand, subject and your message. We use them to answer your question and, if you ask, to schedule a call. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in responding. If you tick the box to receive updates, we send them on the basis of your consent.

Marketing calendar and updates

First name, email address and company name. We send you the calendar and, after that, an occasional look ahead (such as quarterly commerce updates and reminders). Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of every email.

Shopify Snelstart request

First name, company name, email address and, if you fill them in, your phone number and the URL of your current web shop, plus which ad or campaign brought you to the page. The fit-check that follows asks about your web shop, your products, how ready you are, what you need and when you want to go live. We use this to assess whether Snelstart fits, to email you about it and, if needed, to schedule a short call. Legal basis: your request. This does not sign you up for marketing emails.

Visiting the website

Our hosting provider processes technical data every website needs to work, such as your IP address and browser type, and keeps it briefly in server logs for security and troubleshooting. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

Website use (only with consent)

If you give permission, we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used: which pages are visited, how you arrived, your device and browser and an approximate location. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. We only use it to improve the site, not for advertising. Legal basis: your consent.

Your choices in the browser

Your browser stores your language and cookie choices locally. They are not sent to us.

03Cookies

Without your permission, evolut.nl sets no cookies. If you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics, which sets analytics cookies (including _ga). If you click “Decline”, Google Analytics is not loaded.

You can change your choice at any time via “Cookies” at the bottom of every page. We don’t use advertising or social media pixels.

04Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We only use providers that help us run the website and our communications, and that use your data only on our behalf:

Netlify

Website hosting and processing the contact form, the Snelstart request form and the fit-check.

Klaviyo

Sending the marketing calendar, our email updates and the emails about your Snelstart request.

Asana

Following up contact requests and Snelstart requests: each request becomes a task in our internal task list.

Google Analytics

Measuring website use, only if you give permission.

Google Calendar

Only if you book a call via “Or book a call directly”: you then go to Google Calendar and Google’s privacy policy applies.

Netlify, Klaviyo, Asana and Google are US companies, so data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. This happens under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

If you click through to LinkedIn or Instagram, their privacy policies apply.

05How long we keep data

Contact form and Snelstart request

Up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client; then we keep what is needed for the work and our records (for tax purposes: seven years).

Email updates

For as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you and only keep your email address on a suppression list so we don’t email you again by mistake.

Server logs

Briefly, in line with our hosting provider’s retention periods.

Google Analytics

Up to 14 months; after that Google deletes the data.

06Your rights

You can always ask us what data we hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted or transferred. You can also object to processing or withdraw your consent. Email info@evolut.nl; we respond within one month.

Not happy with how we handle your data? Please tell us first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

07Security

The website runs entirely over an encrypted connection (https). Access to the systems holding your data is limited to the people at Evolut who need it.

08Changes

If anything changes in how we handle data, we update this page. The date at the top always shows when that last happened.
