TCG Parade

From passion to a brand that’s ready to play.

BrandCommerceTechnologyAug–Oct 2025
TCG Parade webshop

Launching a brand in a market already full of sellers takes more than a webshop.
It has to be recognisable, feel like a place for fans and be able to sell from day one.
For TCG Parade we built the identity, the Shopify webshop and the launch content in three months.
After that, the brand carried on under its own steam.

01

The question

Trading cards have no shortage of enthusiastic fans.
But a collection of products doesn’t make a brand.

TCG Parade wanted to build a new home for trading card fans, with an identity recognisable enough to stand out among all the other sellers, and a webshop that could be its commercial foundation.

So the question was bigger than:
Can you build us a Shopify webshop?
First we had to be clear about what TCG Parade should be as a brand.

  • How should it feel?
  • How should it sound?
  • How do we set it apart?
  • And how do we then translate that world into a webshop, content and marketing?

Brand first.Then the shop.

02

A brand that’s allowed to stand out

TCG is already a world full of colour, characters, suspense and collecting fever.
It didn’t need a boring webshop laid over the top.

So for TCG Parade we developed an identity with a character of its own: playful, outspoken and inspired by the feeling of a parade and a show.
A brand that gives the products room, but is recognisable enough on its own to stick.

From logo and colours to typography, graphic elements and communication style.

Not made just to look good in a brand book.
But to be used.

  • On the webshop.
  • On social.
  • In content.
  • And eventually in advertising.

The products bring the hype. The brand brings the world around it.

03

From brand to commerce

With the brand identity as the starting point, we then translated TCG Parade into Shopify.
The webshop had to do two things at once.

  • Make the world of TCG Parade tangible.
  • And above all make it easy to discover and buy products.

So no branding that gets in the way of commerce.
And no generic webshop with a logo stuck on top afterwards.
Brand and Shopify were developed as one experience.

BrandExperienceCommerce

That made the webshop TCG Parade’s central commercial platform.

04

Content belongs to the same world

Launching a new brand with just a logo and a webshop is a bit thin.
There had to be something to go out into the world with.

So we created content for both the website and social media.
Content that shows the products while building TCG Parade’s new identity at the same time.

And material the brand could keep communicating with on its own after launch.

Not every piece had to be the same.
But everything had to look like it came from the same world.

One brand.Different touchpoints.

05

Ready to be seen

Alongside the brand, webshop and content, we also laid the groundwork for paid advertising.
We set up the ads account and made sure the advertising environment was ready to launch campaigns from the new brand.

An important distinction:
we didn’t manage TCG Parade’s paid media on a monthly basis.
Our role here was to lay the foundation properly and get it ready to use.

That’s part of good work too.

Not every client has to stay with Evolut forever for a project to be a success.

06

From idea to launch

In August 2025 we started with a brand that still had to be built.
By October there was a recognisable identity, a Shopify webshop, a first batch of content and an advertising setup TCG Parade could take forward.

And after that?
It was up to TCG Parade.

  • No monthly retainer.
  • No list of tasks we artificially drag out.
  • Just a project with a clear goal, a clear delivery and a brand that could carry on independently.

Build it right. Then let it move.

07

RITME in practice

Here too, the project didn’t start with Shopify.
First we looked at what TCG Parade wanted to become and what place the brand should take.

  • That’s where the identity came from.
  • The identity gave direction to the commercial experience.
  • Then we could decide what content was needed and how to set up the first media infrastructure.

Not every part got the same weight.
It didn’t need to.

RITME doesn’t mean we always have to do everything.
It means we first decide what matters and then put the right resources behind it.

From a new idea to a brand that was ready to carry on by itself.

08

What we like about this one

TCG Parade shows a different side of how we work.
Not every partnership has to run for years.
Sometimes our role is simply to build something good together.

  • Give a brand a face.
  • Build a commercial environment.
  • Make sure there’s content to go out with.
  • Get the right systems ready.
  • And then hand over the keys.

Built to launch.Ready to continue.
