’s Zomers Bloemen

From shop floor to checkout.

’s Zomers Bloemen webshop

’s Zomers didn’t need a webshop that just made the flowers look pretty.
The digital side of the business had to work as well as the shop itself.

01

The question

For Michael and René, the owners of ’s Zomers Bloemen, it’s not just about selling flowers.

Walk into ’s Zomers and you step into a world of flowers, plants, colour, creativity and craft. That physical experience is a big part of the brand.
Online, you had to be able to feel it too.

But that wasn’t the only challenge.
Because the moment a physical shop starts selling online in earnest, a lot of less glamorous questions come with it.

  • How do you get the shop and the webshop talking to each other?
  • How do you keep track of stock and sales?
  • How do you organise local delivery?
  • How do you process invoices?
  • How do you handle customer service?
  • And how do you make sure people actually find the webshop?

So the question was bigger than:
Can you build us a Shopify webshop?
It was:

How do we turn the physical world of ’s Zomers into an online business that works?

02

What was needed

More than a pretty webshop.

The webshop was designed by 3110 from Rotterdam. Evolut’s job was to turn that design into a Shopify setup that didn’t just look good, but above all worked well.

  • For the customer.
  • For the team behind the scenes.
  • And for whatever ’s Zomers wanted to do next.

That meant bringing several pieces together.

Shop + webshop

The physical shop and the webshop couldn’t become two separate worlds.
With Shopify and Shopify POS we brought sales, stock and customer data closer together.

Local delivery

Delivering a bunch of flowers works a little differently from shipping a box of sneakers.
So EasyRoutes became part of the setup for planning and organising local deliveries.

Systems that take work off your hands

Gorgias for customer service.
Sufio for invoicing.
Yuki for bookkeeping.
Klaviyo for email marketing.

Not wiring together as many tools as possible.
The right systems in the right place.

03

What we did

From design to a working commerce setup.

We developed the Shopify webshop and set up the technical environment around it.

But on a project like this we don’t just look at what happens on screen.
We also look at what happens after someone hits order.

From stock and order processing to local delivery, invoicing and customer service.

Because a webshop can look great on the front end and still cause headaches behind the scenes every single day.
Nobody ends up happy with that.

04

Physical experience → digital experience

The shop experience was the starting point.

Shopify became the digital shop.Shopify POS connected online and offline.EasyRoutes got orders out into the city.Gorgias organised customer questions.Sufio and Yuki moved sales into the books.

So what came out wasn’t just a new webshop.

It was a digital layer around the existing business.

05

Live. Now what?

A webshop is not a finished product.

The partnership didn’t stop at launch.
In fact, that’s when another part of the work began.
Because once the technical foundation is in place, new questions come up.

  • How do we get more relevant visitors to the webshop?
  • Which products and stories deserve attention?
  • What content do we need for that?
  • What works organically?
  • Where do we use advertising?
  • And what can we improve once we see how customers behave?

So we kept working with ’s Zomers every month.

06

From webshop to commercial rhythm

Together we kept working on the digital growth of ’s Zomers.
Not through one-off campaigns, but by connecting the different pieces.

Organic social

Staying visible with content that fits the world of ’s Zomers.
Not just showing products, but also the work, the shop, the craft and everything that makes ’s Zomers what it is.

Paid social

Using advertising to take relevant products, moments and stories beyond the existing reach.
Not advertising because there’s budget to spend.
First decide what deserves attention. Then buy reach.

Content creation

Creating content for organic and paid social, matched to what was happening commercially.
From products and bouquets to shop moments, seasons and campaigns.

Email marketing

Using Klaviyo not only to bring in new customers, but also to build the relationship with existing ones.

Webshop optimisation

Looking at what can be better and building on it.
New features, technical improvements, customer experience and commercial optimisation.

07

Still every month

WebshopManagement, development and optimisation.
ContentContent creation around the brand, the range and commercial moments.
Organic socialOngoing visibility and storytelling.
Paid socialAdvertising around whatever deserves commercial attention.
EmailKlaviyo for new and returning customers.
DirectionWeighing new ideas, setting priorities and making sure the pieces reinforce each other.
08

Not everything needs redoing.

  • Sometimes something needs to be built.
  • Sometimes something needs to be connected.
  • Sometimes the biggest opportunity is in content, advertising or email.
  • And sometimes the answer is not to invent yet another new thing, but to make better use of what’s already there.

So the partnership with Michael and René has changed over time.
From building a Shopify webshop to continuously improving the digital side of ’s Zomers together.

Not the same work every month.
But the same question every month:

What deserves attention right now?

09

Since 2023

The webshop is up.
The systems are running.
The marketing moves with it.
And the partnership is still going.

Not because a webshop is ever truly finished.
But because the business doesn’t stand still either.

Evolve never stops.
